I am a proud chem nerd! I have both a Bachelor's and Master's in Chem, as well as a Master's of Secondary Science Education (with a focus in you guessed it, chemistry). I have been a Chemistry tutor and teacher for 13 years now.
One benefit of the pandemic has been virtual tutoring, which has allowed me to teach students around the world. I've now worked with Marco Learning, Chegg, LearningMate, and Jack Westin too.

How long do tutoring sessions last?
Most sessions last about 45 minutes, plus or minus 15 minutes.

How do I prepare for a tutoring session?
I ask that you send a copy of any current notes/topics/assessments, so we are able to cover more material in your session. I do like to have practice problems and additional resources prepared too.

Which chemistry classes do you offer for tutoring services?
I currently offer tutoring for Physical science (8th/9th grade) through General Chemistry I & II (undergraduate level).
What if I'm not sure if tutoring is for me?
Once you sign up for a slot, you do not have to commit past the initial meeting. Don't feel like we're a good fit? No worries!
