Chem 2 Boot Camp

Worried it's been too long since you took chemistry 1? Looking for a refresher before taking AP Chem or Gen Chem this fall? You've come to the right place! This quick course will provide you with a strong chemistry 1 foundation in preparation for a college-level course (whether AP, Dual-Enrollment, or Undergraduate General Chemistry). This class is designed for students who have taken high school chemistry; however, I do not expect you to remember much from your initial chemistry experience. The course is broken into 5 manageable modules: Module 1 - Bonding & Nomenclature Module 2 - Molecular Geometry & Intermolecular Forces Module 3 - Chemical Reactions Module 4 - Dimensional Analysis & Stoichiometry Module 5 - Empirical & Molecular Formulas Everything is differentiated, with practice and lessons offered at different levels of difficulty. The course concludes with a cumulative escape room, and students will have access to all notes and practice once the course finishes. This course is intended to give you the background you need to be successful in a higher-level chemistry course, no matter your original experience in Chemistry 1.
